How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated on weight and dimensions of an order. Shipping will be calculated at the checkout page. In some cases, quotes may be required for shipping.
We offer free shipping on some AVR’s delivered within Australia.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver world-wide. Shipping is calculated based on location and size of the package, and may require a quote.
What happens if my product is faulty?
Macfarlane Generators prides ourselves on taking care when packaging and shipping products. We complete a pre-delivery service where we ensure that products are operative and warranty compliant, and we hand package and send your purchase. Please see 'Warranty Conditions' for more information.

On Manufacturers new equipment supplied by Macfarlane Generators, the particular Manufacturers warranty conditions will apply e.g. Cummins / Pramac / Kohler and others (copies supplied on request). Macfarlane Generators will support the Manufacturers warranty conditions as required by the Manufacturer where applicable.
Warranty of Macfarlane Products and Services
Macfarlane Generators provide a warranty of its own products, services, and workmanship for 12 months or 2000 hours (which ever comes first from the date of shipment or invoice) under normal use & service. Alterations or repairs made to the product without prior approval from Macfarlane Generators may void this warranty.
The above warranty is in lieu of any other warranties expressed or implied. Warranty does not cover fair wear and use commensurate with the age of the product, any damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, or failure to observe proper operating instructions or proper machinery maintenance.
How to Claim
To claim a warranty, a Warranty Return Authorisation (WRA) must be completed including providing details and a copy of the purchase invoice, and returned to Macfarlane Generators prior to any works being considered or authorised. A purchase order may be required and invoiced on completion of works if warranty is not approved.
Return of Defective Units
After written consent has been given by our authorised representative, all defective products are to be returned with freight pre-paid via regular road transport to the branch where the goods were purchased or supplied.
Adjustment Policy
Macfarlane Generators shall, as its option, repair or replace at no charge, any unit under warranty which it determines from its own examination to have become defective under normal use and service.
Such examination may be made by our representative at the buyer's premises.
Labour Costs
The above adjustment policy does not include the following and must be paid by the customer:
Reimbursement of any labour costs incurred to remove defective units, or install replacement units made under warranty not covered by manufacturer.
Travelling time and expenses to and from site for the company's representative or service staff not covered by manufacturer.
Any extraordinary expenses and/or associated costs with removal or refitting of parts travelling to and from site by out service staff to industry standards.
Liabilities of Buyer
Where the defect is found not the be the fault of Macfarlane Generators or the manufacturers products supplied by Macfarlane Generators, the buyer shall be liable for all expenses incurred by Macfarlane Generators and its sub-contractors (where applicable) at the buyer's request. Such expense shall include freight, inspections and any repair services performed at the buyer's request.
Limitation of Liability
The liability of Macfarlane Generators for any defects in its products, shall be limited to the repair or replacement of defective units as offered by the manufacturer. Macfarlane Generators shall not be responsible or liable for any other loss resulting from defects in products, consequential or otherwise.
Note
No warranty is given or implied on pre-owned equipment unless specified in writing at point of sale. Our goods may come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
DELIVERY METHOD: FREIGHT

Enter your MOBILE number during check out: Our courier calls MOBILE numbers to book the delivery day. Monday-Friday 9am-6pm.
A delivery day – not time: Our discounted shipping rates require you to be home 9am-6pm on the day of delivery. Perhaps a business address is more convenient for you. Simply change your delivery address in the checkout before purchasing.
Assistance: Large items will require you to assist the driver. Our courier will deliver to the ground floor only no stairs/sheds/back yards.
No PO Boxes: Signature is required. If for any reason we miss you on the delivery day, a card will be left for you to call the depot to collect the goods. For a second delivery you will need to pay extra freight cost. Buyers in remote areas such as Islands, mining camps, rural farms etc will need to collect from the nearest freight depot. Items are generally dispatched within 1-2 days after payment is cleared. Large items take more time please allow 7-10 working days for delivery.
Any changes to address after checkout will not be considered as valid. Macfarlane Generators is not liable for any delay, losses and/or damage of items due to changes of delivery address after checkout, or mistakes made by buyers. This also includes failure to provide an answered phone number which is essential to facilitate delivery of bulky freight. Please be aware that P.O Boxes cannot receive items above 25kg or longer than 1 metre. We highly recommend that you change your delivery address to a workplace for items that are large and bulky prior to purchase. Re-delivery fee will be charged to buyers for items that are undeliverable and/or returned due to incorrect delivery address or unsuccessful delivery. Items will only be delivered during normal business hours (9am to 5pm) on weekdays. Delivery is not available on weekends, public holidays or after business hours.
