The MAXiAVR R438 replaces the Leroy Somer RS437 and R438LSC AVRs. It is used with AREP or PMG excitation on LSA42.3, LSA43.2, LSA44.2 and LSA44.3 Leroy Somer Alternator models.

These are the replacement AVRs for FG Wilson and Caterpillar Gensets. Part # 922-045

GENUINE LEROY SOMER BRANDED R438 AVRs are NO LONGER MANUFACTURED.
For Marine Certification, use D350 AVR.
